Hi
In my DTS I am updating an Ingres database on a different server.
I'm getting the following error immedtiately ....

HResult of 0x80040e09 (-2147217911) returned
Unexpected error occured. An error was returned without an error message

Anyone know what its about ?

Thanks !!

Ok guys, I worked this one out and thought maybe some of you would be
interested in hearing it (even though no one responded to the initial
posting).
I searched the net a bit and saw that other ppl get the same message
when performing actions on databases (of any kind) on other servers.
The message I put in the posting was what I got when I ran the DTS step
by step when I was writing and checking it.
The error message I got when running it as a package was an ODBC message
giving me the actual Ingres error.
Hence the error message ...
"Unexpected error occured. An error was returned without an error message"
There is no error message within SqlServer because the error message is
external from Ingres.
