Hi!

I'm enabling RDA/Replication between SQL 2005 (9.0.2047) and SQL Compact Ed.
(ver 3.1) on Windows Mobile devices.

I've installed SQL Compact Ed. Server tools (3.1) on the SQL Server machine
but when I am creating a new publication, in the Subscriber Types window it
says "SQL Server Mobile Edition" instead of "SQL Server Compact Edition". I
recall reading something about a service pack fixing this "name-error".

Should I care about this?

Thanks in advance!

/ Peter

You should install SQL Server 2005 SP2, as this fixes a number of merge
replication issues.

It also changes the name from "SQL Server Mobile Edition" to "SQL Server
Compact Edition"
