Future of Ntext

Hello all,

I read that ntext should not be used in new SQL 2005 applications,
what is the future of ntext in the compact edition ?

I believe that for now it is pretty bright (ie. nvarchar(max) on server will
become ntext on SQL Compact database in the forseeable future.
