Hope someone here can help me out.
I've worked with SqlServer for the past 10 years, unfortunately in my new
job they have a mixture of databases. One of the legacy systems I need to
support uses sybase.
The guys here use isql (console based) and gvim (a vi editor clone) to write
and test their stored procedures....
Surely this cant be right? I feel like I've dropped into a time warp back to
the 70s.
Surely there is something like SqlServer's Management Studio/Query Analyzer
for sybase?

Didn't you check the date on the calendar.... it's 4/28... 1987 <g> Sorry
just a little bit of humor.
Take a look at the Toad product. I remember it being very popular with
Oracle guys as a universal manager and I'm pretty sure it will work with
Sybase as well. There is also ASE Isql
