Hi all,

Are there any consequences if Cluster IP resource is running on Node A and
SQL Server resource is on Node B?

Thanks

I assume you mean the Cluster resource group which includes the Cluster IP
address, Cluster Network name, and Quorum disk?  There is no problem with
having the cluster group on one node and a SQL Server Virtual server on
another node.  With SQL 2000, all nodes are equivalent once the installation
is complete.

thanks, Geoff.
That's what I thought, since the sql was still running fine on the other node.
