Hello group. Recently I had installed a Active/PasiveSql Server cluster
solution. All iy's OK except for the Enterprise Manager. This console only is
installed in the first node. For administrative purposes is necesary install
this application in the second node. When I try with the Sql Srver CD it send
a popup error message. The setup program found a Sql Server instance in the
server...then only is possible abort.
The questions:
Exist some way to install the client part without the setup program checks
the instances?
Or it is possible download the setup program for only enterprise manager?

regards,

Rodrigo

I don't understand why it is required to install Enterprise Manager on any
of the nodes in a cluster.  I never have.  You can run EM from anywhere in
your environment and connect to your SQL Servers.

No, there isn't a separate install for Enterprise Manager.  During the
installation, you shoudl be specifying to install the Tools only.
