Hi
We have a server with 8Gb memory, and 4 SQL Server instaces.

Should we run AWE??

Thanks

64 bit right?

In addition to using 'awe enabled', also use 'Max Server Memory (MB)' !

8 GB total memory / 4 instances = 2 GB per instance. (No /3GB or AWE
needed.)

Unless you are going to divide up the memory and provide one instance with a
lot more memory (and the others less), I don't think that you have a
justification for the overhead of AWE -in fact, I believe that AWE will
cause a net loss of available memory in your circumstance.
