Can you have two SQL instances with the same on the same cluster?

Hello

I have Windows 2003 SP1 64-bit (enterprise) on two servers.  I've
installed MSCS, and am ready to start installation of SQL 2000 and SQL
2005.  We are currently migrating from an existing SQL 2000 cluster to
this 'new' cluster.

I'm installing both SQL2000 and 2005 on the same cluster to make our
migration as simple as possible (when we're ready to go to SQL 2005) by
avoiding installing SQL 2005 on an already live SQL 2000 system.

If I install 3 instances, I'll have the following:

1 SQL 2000 instance (live)
2.SQL 2005 instance (future live)
3.SQL 2005 instance (another instance for other purposes - again future
live)

My question:

Can I install two of these instances with the same INSTANCE NAME?

Example

SQL2005VIRTUALSERVER1\SQLINSTANCE
SQL2005VIRTUALSERVER2\SQLINSTANCE

TIA!

No, Instance names must be unique on the server.
