Testing a cluster with a workload

I have installed two SQL Server clustered instances in a two node cluster
(a/a).
Now, I need to test the environment with a workload in presence of a
failover event.
Do I have to use SQL Profiler? Do I have already a workload? Is it possible
to test the SQL querying into a cluster in an another manner?
Thanks

You can run the workload against the SQL Server using what ever method
works best for you.  If you already have a SQL PRofiler workload
created from your current production enviroment then use this.

Denny is correct.  Failover is just another event to test with your
pre-defined test workload.

The first question to ask is what are the objectives of your tests. What are
you trying to accomplish? What questions are you trying to answer? When you
have your objectives defined, workloads/test methods would naturally follow.

The goal is to verify the behaviour of the cluster during a failover while
the users execute an intensive querying to dbs.
Thanks

The app workload has very little impact on the cluster failover behavior.
