Hi,
I wonder how can I diagnose where is the bootleneck of my system.
DTS are running very slow as there is CPU usage about 20% and Avg. disk
queue about 100% all the time.
Is this mean that disks are too slow ?
Is there any possibility to do some memory tuning ?

regards
Peter

I presume you talk about a bulk insert data movement?
if yes, do you have indexes in the target table?
how many disks have you and what is the Raid level (if any)?
how many rows and memory do you have?
how many rows by seconds are inserted? (bulk insert performance counter)

another question, does your input is a query or a table?
if its a query, does this query is a complex one? (with multplie joins and
other calculations)
the problem can come from the source and not the destination.
if the query is complex, then reading the result from the source can be
slower then expected.

If it is not already done, try to set the database recovery model to
Bulk Insert instead of Full.

Fire up the Performance Monitor in Windows and have a look at the I/O
counters.

You must first find out if memory is an issue. Again try the
Performance Monitor.
