Currently evaluating ETL tools to replace hand coded sql at 10 datamart
installations.  Each installation requires custom code and complex
transforms involving deleting records, updating fields, changing
associations betweeen parent and child records, etc.  Anyone have
experience besides using DTS? Looking at products in the <$3000 per
server range-this is for a non-profit's data warehousing project.

Thanks!

Try SQL 2005 and its new ETL tool.
Its too different from DTS in SQL 2000, so there is no comparisons.

Ken,

Talk to Data Junction (Pervasive)http://www.pervasive.com

They have a low priced option for ETL tools, that should easily do what you need.

DTS is not an easy to use solution, but it is free
