Hi,

I want to display some numbers in a map.
These numbers come from a data warehouse and/or an OLAP cube

I'm looking for a webbased tool.
I want to display some colors linked to some values and I want to display
specific "push pins" associated to specific postal code numbers.
The target map will be Canada and detailled to the city and district region.

and if possible:
* This tool support sharepoint windows services and portal server 2003
* I can easely develop around it (to add some interactivity and connectable
webparts)

I'm not looking for a complete interactive map, so I don't want to have some
capabilities directly on the map (like dynamic zoom, pan etc...) (but its an
option)

I've found the Chart FX Map tool, but I think there is more other tools?

Thanks for your guide and feedback.

Jerome.

Maybe MapInfo has something?  I believe a previous employer of mine used
their MapX product for that purpose.

Although it's sole focus *isn't* maps, reportportal is a reasonably good (and cheap) xmla olap client, that has mapping abilities.  Not sure on the pins, but the guys seem pretty easy to get on with so could possibly add it on request.  www.reportportal.com.

I have try it, but there is a lack of maps (and I need city level detail;
with postal code mapping)
and I cannot display pushpin or multiple values on the map.
