We are moving to a new ERP system next year based upon a SQL database. Max
100 users, generally between 50-60 users. I've tried to find out what the
recommendations are for running SQL on a different server to the actual ERP
system, but there don't seem to be any. Would anybody have any comments /
thoughts / recommendations?

Ideally, SQL Server should be on its own server for resource
utilization....memory, CPU and disk subsystem should not have multiple
applications fighting for them....
