Depends on whether you have row-level or column-level conflict tracking, but
to be sure, stop the merge agent, edit a column of a specific row on the
subscriber1 and the same row/column on the subscriber2 to a different value,
then synchronize.

You can also delete a row on one side, update it on the other and then
synchronize.
