Hi,

We are using Novell as NOS.  However, we would like to implement Reporting
Services.  At the present moment, we are using mixed mode for our SQL
Servers.  For RS, should we create two accounts:
1) Payoffice
2) Enquiry
on the Report Server and let user to use Browser to view the report ?

Thanks

You can store credentials (separate from Novell) for the data sources on the
RS and let users access Reports via the browser.. In my opinion that is a
preferred way to do business in many cases even when the OS is MS...

Dear Wayne,

In other words, I just create two users named "Payroll" and "Enquiry" as
local user in the Windows 2000 Server.  On the other hand, assign them to
customized roles in Reporting Server.

When end users access Reports via Browser, they just need to enter username
"Payroll" or "Enquiry" and the corresponding password ?

Thanks
Jason
