I'm a .Net developer and we'll be installing Reporting Services next week. To
schedule reports to be sent via email, does RS require SQL Mail in SQL Server
2000 to be working to send the reports?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can have a SMTP server that you specify, it doesn't have to be on the
same server. You can also have a mail server locally and have a pickup
directory and have the file be put in the pickup directory. RS does not use
SQL Mail (as far as I know).
