Slow PDF Export

This message has been asked before but not answered.  I am generating a PDF
with multliple subreports containing graphs.  All is well until a certain
level of complexity is reached, and the Export to PDF just hangs.  Seems to
be an all or nothing effect.  Either the report generates to PDF within a
minute or so for reports that contain say 30 or fewer graphs, or it hangs
forever if the report is 'too complex' (> 30 graphs).  The 30 number is just
an extimate, but there seems to me some threshhold that the report is
reaching on some runs.

Is there a graph or subreport limit I need to be aware of?  What can I do to
stop the export to PDF from hanging for this report?

It looks like our problem is the result of nesting subreports (having subs
that have subs).  Rendering worked as desired but seemed to significantly
negatively affect performance in rendering to PDF with larger reports.  After
changing to just contain one level of subreports, the PDFs that were hanging
now generate in a couple of minutes using SP1.
