Hi,

I have installed VS.NET Pro 2005 & SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition with
full install.
From some reason I don't see the "SQL Server Business Intelligence
Development Studio" on my machine so I can't create reports.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Regards,
Asaf

Hi Asaf,

Welcome to the ASP.NET newsgroup.

As for the SQL server 2005's "Business Intelligence Development Studio", it
is installed together with the management studio as a member of the
workstation tools and components. So I think you can try perform a
installation on those components again to ensure they've been fully
installed.

Also, the BI dev studio in SQL Server 2005 is just a simplified version of
the VS 2005 dev studio which contains only the sql database specific
project templates.  So if you have already installed VS 2005 full version,
you can just create sql server database projects (report, analysis
services...) through VS 2005, you'll find the "business Intelligence
Projects" category in the create project wizard in vs 2005.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Steven Cheng
