I used a report wizard to create a table report...How can I change the table
style in design mode ?

If you mean change to Matrix style - there is no easy button - you have to
do it all by hand.

A quicker workaround is to copy your MDX query into the clipboard, then
re-run the wizard, pasting your MDX code in and stepping through the UI part
and selecting Matrix style.

I did the same thing....suprised that this is the only way!!! I am wondering
whether Reporting services was ever tested by microsoft....They should use
the product in real projects atleast 3-6 months before they release it to
public...

I actually was invited to participate in the Microsoft useability studies
for this product.  I reported this as a missed feature as others did also.
