Hi,

I've posted a question to this newsgroup and it is missing. The subject is:
"Can we add functionality to existing render extensions?"

Is there any problem with the post or am I missing any setting?

Regards,
Max

I don't see and didn't see the post mentioned below.

The answer to your question is no. You cannot add functionality to existing
rendering extensions. You can write your own which is non-trivial.

Hi Max2006,
Our newsgroup indeed encountered the issue of missing post if you sent a post via Windows Live Mail some
days ago. Recently I was informed that this issue had been resolved, however the missed posts could not be re-
synchronized from the server.

You may try sending your post via Windows Live Mail again, if this issue persists, please feel free to send an
email to me (changliw_at_microsoft_dot_com). I will report the issue to the related team.

If you have any other question or concerns, please feel free to let me know.  Thank you.

Best regards,
Charles Wang

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for
non-urgent issues where an initial response from the community
or a Microsoft Support Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable.
Please note that each follow up response may take approximately
2 business days as the support professional working with you may
need further investigation to reach the most efficient resolution.
The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by
contacting Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/support/default.aspx.
