Report Builder 2.0 only authors 2008 RDL schema.
If you open a 2005 RDL report in Report Builder 2.0, the first thing that
will happen is that the report will be upgraded to the 2008 RDL format in
memory as long as there are no unsupported features as far as 2008 schema is
concerned. The only case where that might happen is if you are using the
Dundas CRI controls in 2005 and are using certain features on these controls
like custom code. Even in that event, we will give the report author the
option to remove those features and upgrade the report to the 2008 RDL
schema. If you decide to not upgrade the report to the 2008 RDL schema, you
will not be able to author it in Report Builder 2.0, but the report can
still execute on the server because the 2008 server can process both 2008
and 2005 RDL.

Thank you Sean.
How about putting this 2008 RDL schema, authored in RB2008, into RS
2005 server? will that work?
TIA,
Kamel

No, that is not a supported scenario.
