Hi,
Has microsoft plans of having the export format as MS Word. Since both are
microsoft products it shouldn't be difficult to do so.
If approx dates could be provided it would be pretty easy for all the
developers/companies planning to shift to MS Reporting.

thanks

If you need Word output from RS, you can use SoftArtisans OfficeWriter
product, available today:
http://officewriter.softartisans.com/officewriter-250.aspx
It integrates with Reporting Services as a rendering extension (export
filter). You will need to design your reports specifically for Word output in
MS Word with OfficeWriter Designer. In many cases it is easier than designing
reports for Word in DevStudio/RDL, plus you can use existing MailMerge
templates.
If you need generic report export to MS Word format, we are planning release
of a generic Word rendering extension. Approximate release date: around Yukon
release.

Office writer forces me to use word as the devlopement tool I'm going backwards and have to create 2 reports. Also, I can't seem to use shared data sources.

Anybody use Aspose.Words.
