Messages stuck in Transmission Queue

I have a number of messages that are in the sys.transmission_Queue with
Transmission_Status of blank.  I sent a test message through just to see
where it goes and it also gets stuck in the transmission_queue.  When I go
to the corresponding Conversation_Endpoint, it says it's
disconnected_outbound.  I shut off the mechanism that receives the message
on the destination server, but nothing shows up in the destination queue or
the destination transmission_Queue or Conversation_Endpoint.

I can telnet successfully both ways to the port that service broker uses on
each server.

I'm not sure what else I can check to find out why the messages aren't being
sent or received?  can someone give me a few ideas?

Thanks!

Let me add that I did profile the destination server and am getting a
message

This message could not be delivered because its message timestamp has
expired or is invalid

Not sure what this means.

FYI, These servers are in different time zones.

Thanks!
