Is Service Broker a good way to automatically create and email weekly and
monthly reports?

The content of these emails is easily generated with SQL Queries.

If so, any pointers to how this could be done.

Thanks In Advance,
geo

Nope, not really. Reporting Services would be a better bet. Notifications
Services might be too.

Or at least less code intensive... :)

Thanks for your reply Kent...

Having reviewed Reporting Services (SSRS) I see that it appears to supply a
Report Designer, which is useful, but I was primarily looking to solve the
problem of periodic reports being generated automatically.

Is there something I am missing within SSRS that will meet this
requirement??

Thanks,
George

Once you've designed the report, you can shedule it to be run periodically
by the Reporting Services service. {0} for more information.

If you're looking for magic beans that will write the report for you, good
luck :)
