Hi all,
Appologies if this has been asked before, I have been searching for
days now on how to do this without success.
We have a database we would like users to be able to search I have
enabled full text search and it works great but I cannot figure out how
to make a web page to allow us to search over the intranet.
I have been given this job, as I am the IT Person, but I know nothing
about the scripting side of things, it takes me long enough to make a
html page :)
Any links to a tutorial on how to do this would be greatly appreciated!
thanks

SAS,
When you say you want to make a web page (using ASP.NET or what other
technology?) to allow you to search over the intranet, are you referring to
having your intranet users search the FT-enabled database or are you
interested in extending the FT-enabled database to search your intranet?
If the former, then checkout these links:

If you're interested in extending SQL FTS to search your intranet, let me
know and I can provide some links on that topic as well.
