Hello all,
I am working on a project and need some help. I am having an
application that uploads the data in the "resume" table and the content
of resume table is as follows:

rid fileName docType resume_Title
document
1 ANewFile.doc doc ANewFile
0xD0CF11E0A1B11AE100.......
2 Sumi.doc doc Sumi
0xD0CF11E0A1B11AE100.......
3 succes2.doc doc succes2
0xD0CF11E0A1B11AE100.......
4 success1.doc doc success1
0xD0CF11E0A1B11AE100000.....

I want to perform a Full-Text Search on the document column which is
containg MS-WORD documents. Can anyone help to learn how to do that.
I'd really appriciate the effort, if you can help me with the steps.
The only thing I know about FTS is that I need to install it as a
seperate service in the SQLServer.
Please help.
Thanks & Regards,
Varun Narang.

Thanks Mr. Cotter,
That was really helpful. I must say, I couldn't find much better
explanation than that.
Thanks once again for great help.
