Full text not populating on failover node, SQL 2000 clustering

We have 2 boxes running clustered windows enterprise OS 2003, SQL server 2000
sp4 in clustered mode.  Everything runs fine, except when we do a failover of
sql to the secondary node, full text indexing will not index.  The properties
come back with an item count of 1 instead of 100,000+.

I've already done the steps in KB817301 prior to posting.  Also, as a
side note the install of windows on both boxes are identical and they are
clustered.  SQL was installed on one instance and it is essentially
replicated to the other node.  The hard drives for the data reside on a
secondary Powervault.   Registry entries copy successfully and all other
services migrate on a failover.

The only "errors" I can find are:

1-----------------------
Event Type:    Warning
Event Source:    Microsoft Search
Event Category:    Gatherer
Event ID:    3024

because no crawl seeds could be accessed. Fix the errors and try the crawl
again.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance
