It seems like Track Changes Automatically is working, but the changes aren't
getting pushed into the index.

I had to turn it off and back on and force and update.

Am I missing something?

It's happening on a number of indexed views.

There was an issue in SP1 which has been fixed in SP2. Which version are you
running?
