Server components on xXP Pro !

hello,
I was wondering how to install server components on win XP Pro (above all
FTS)
Dring the MSSQL Enterprise eddition installation I got a message that my
operating system doesn't support server components

Stefan,
You would need to install SQL Server 2000 "Developer Edition on your WinXP
Pro machine and then use "custom installation", and under Server components,
select the "Full-text Search" component. SQL Server 2000 is sensitive to the
OS platform version during installation and will only install on the
appropriate OS platform. In the case of SQL 2000 Enterprise Edition, it will
install on Windows Server 2000 "Advance Server" or Win2K's Enterprise
Edition.
