How can you troubleshoot why it is taking so long for the databases to
display after selecting Databases? It's for ever - - - - --  -

How many are there?  Is it over the LAN or a remote SQL Sever?

Are the databases set to AutoClose?

WE have 17 db including Northwind, Master and pub and no auto close.
Everything was working fine until we moved it to our new Domain. We have a
software firewall between the two domains. All are in the same building -

Also check to make sure ODBC tracing is turned off.
