I made a package that copies data from one table of a sql server database to
another table of another database sql server.
I use oledb connection for the two connection
I want to store user and password of the two connection to avoid retype them
every time I launch package .
I don't find any solution.
I try to use configuration file but even with this, I must add password in
the Execute Package UTility in the connection manager.

I try  different package protection level but i can't store password.

Is it possible to store password and in this case how must I do ?
Thanks for your help

See 'Setting the Protection Level of Packages' on BOL and see if any of the
protection levels, specially EncryptAllWithUserKey and
EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey may fit your needs.

Hope this helps,

Thanks , but I already try the different type of protection level.

In the connection manager windows, when you check "Save my password" , it is
not saved. How can i use this checkbox. what else must i DO?
Thanks

I just recently purchased a computer from a friend i am trying to set a
password so i am the only one that is able to sign on to the computer. I have
set a password for my user name but you can type in any name into the user
box at start up and it will start to make a profile for that name and log
them on to the computer. I want to set it where i am the only one that can
log on because if it gets stolen anyone can just log in and start working on
it. Thanks Please if you can email the response to
edrenawilliams@sbcglobal.net because i don't really know how to use this
website.Thanks
