I installed sql 7.0 on a different workstation of mine. I am getting a log
in error of 1069. I am using administrator as the sqlagent id.
Administrator on this computer does not have a passwork. I created a
password for the server but still keep getting this error.
I also would like to know, since I have service pack 4, is it possible to
upgrade to SQL 2000 and then to 2003?
Thanks
Dee

Hi
C:\>net helpmsg 1069
The service did not start due to a logon failure.
Check the password for both SQL Server and SQL Server agent. Check that the
same user is being used.
You can upgrade to SQL Server 2000 from any level of Service Pack for SQL
Server 7.0.
There is no SQL Server 2003, are you referring to Windows 2003?
