Hi,

I'm having troubles installing both SQL 2005 and VS.Net on the same box. I
put VS.net on the box so i can easily modify source files from wherever i am
if i need to.

It seems that SQL2005 needs .Net 2.0 Beta and VS.Net needs .net 2.0 Beta 2 -
however they are not willing to share (I can have both frameworks installed
though only one or the other product will work).

Is there a way around this as it seems a bit silly.

Thankyou very much!

YOu have to use the appropiate version which fix together, don´t know where
your copy of Beta 2 is from, but, there is a special VS.NE Edition which has
the same .net framework to give the full support.

Hi

SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 April CTP and VS.NET 2005 Beta 2 are the only
supported, and workable match. Nothing else.

Regards
Mike
