SQL SERVER INSTANCES

Hi,
Tipically when I create a new SQLSERVER 2000 instance I
put a new port number or the same port number of my
default istance? What's better method? Why?
I'm a vb developer and I need to create a good connection
for all situation...

Hi

Each instance needs to use a different port. Default is also an instance.

It is best to use ports above 32000.
