Does SQL Server 2000 Std Ed require processor licensing to access dual
processors on a Windows 2003 server? Will Server+User CALs licensing allow
access to both processors? This doesn't seem clear in Microsoft's licensing
documents and web pages.

Under server and CAL licensing the Standard Edition will utilise up to 4
processors - no processor licence is required.

If you don't need OLAP and DTS then you might also consider Workgroup
Edition, which supports 2 processors.

Yes thanks for your answer, and disregard my new question on the same
subject a little while ago.  I should have done a better search.  <g>
