SQL Server 2000. I have SQL Server 2000 installed as part of Small Business
Server 2003. I am a SQL novice, so please answer gracefully and clearly.
How do I determine what service pack level I am on (i.e., 3, 3a, or 4) and
where do I get the latest service packs. Is there anything like "auto
update", or a wizard that leads one through the update process for SQL Server
2000 like there is for Windows Server and the Office products? Thanks and
God bless.

I went to the SQL Server 2000 download page for Service Pack 4. The
following files were listed, with the directions to "download the ones
appropriate for you." How do I determine which of these are appropriate for
me!?

ReadmeSql2k32desksp4.htm

Thanks Jasper. How can I decipher the cryptic file names in the future.
That is, what do all of the "SQL2000-KB884525-SP4-x86-ENU.EXE" mean? I
understand "SQL2000" and "SP4." What does all the rest of the stuff mean?
