I just successfully installed sql 2005 on my machine with all the optional
items checked ( Integration  Service,Analysis Services etc..)

But after I installed Microsoft SQL Server 2000 DTS Designer Components from
microsoft, I couldnt find SSIS on SQL Mgmt Studio.

Isnt it suppose to be under managment on SMS ?

thanks!

Did you try -
File - > Connect
In the Connect to Server dialog, select Integration Services
from the server type drop down. Put in server name,
authentication info and then hit connect.
If you are looking for the designer, you need to use the
Business Intelligence Development Studio that comes with SQL
Server 2005. From there you can start or open an Integration
Services project.

I have the same problem.  Did you resolve it ??      I've seen a few other
posts with the same problem, but no solutions.   Hey, Microsoft .... what's
the deal !?!?!?

Check this. You have to set COM Security on the remote machine.
