A program that i am trying to install requires MS SQL Server 2005 to be
installed in order for it to run and automatically runs the MS SQL
installation process during software install, whilst it attempts to install
MS SQL i get an error message saying:
SQL Server Setup failed to execute a command for server configuration. The
error was [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Windows NT user or group
'ADAM-PC\SQLServer2005MSSQLUser$ADAM-PC$SQLEXPRESS' not found. Check the name
again.. Refer to the server error logs and Setup logs for detailed error
information.

I tried going to the above link but nothing was there concerning this
particular problem and have tried looking at the SQL forum with no luck
either!
I have also tried downloading sql server 2005 from MS and installing it
myself with installs fine but program seems to say "RPC Server not Found"
when loaded so im thinking that the self install of SQL server by the program
has prerequisites/options set.
Hopefully it is something simple.
Any help would be appreciated!

This is a known issue and there is a KB about this.
You may want to check out that KB from the following link:
Error message when you install SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack
1 in Windows Vista: "Windows NT user or group
'<COMPUTERNAME>\SQLServer2005MSSQLUser$<COMPUTERNAME>$MSSQLSERVER' not

I think this is a known issue.. You can either change the computer name to
all uppercase or change collation to case in-sensitive. More info on this can
be found at:
