I am working with a fellow developer that cannot view database diagrams on
his machine. He can log into another machine and view them just fine.

Enterprise Manager has been removed, reinstalled and service packed to the
correct level.

Any quick fix ideas besides re-imageing the machine? Previous users of this
machine have had the same problems.

Are you using the same login on local and remote machine?

Permision?

Permissions are adequate. He can log into any other workstation and view the
diagrams.

We have it narrowed down to workstation issue.

The issue is not one of permissions. The developer in question is a member of
the db_owner group.

He can access the diagrams from other workstations when he logs into them.

The issue is specific to the configuration of his workstation.

Be aware that part of the configuration of his workstation is who he
connects as.  The registration includes options for either Windows or
SQL Server authentication.
