SQL Server Forum / DB Engine / SQL Server / March 2008Uninstall SQL2000/Install 2005-Event viewer error
I had uninstalled sql2000 then installed sql2005. I now receive the following message in the application event viewer login failed for SA (client 127.0.0.0) Source: MSSQLSERVER EventId: 18456 Category: 4 how can i correct this? Hi This is a login failure. Do you know which application is trying to log in? If you do find out where you configure the account details to reflect a correct username/password.
