I have a SQL 2000 database that is almost 3 gig's.  Small by some
people's standards.  I would like to convert the Database to a 2005
format.  Is there a conversion wizard, or a process that will do
this?  Please advise with as much instruction as possible.

Thanks

Hi Dave

Look at the SQL 2005 Upgrade Advisor to see what you may need to change when
upgrading the database
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=1470e86b-7e05-4322-a677

and the upgrade handbook is worth a scan
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/sql/2005/sqlupgrd.mspx.

It will also be advisable to rebuilt indexes, update statistics and usageage
