SQL Express 2005 and 3GB switch

Hello:
I'm looking for some information regarding the 3 GB switch for SQL Express
2005.  I have Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 SP2 and SQL Express 2005.  The
server has 4 GB in it.  I have a database that is running slow.  It takes
about 1.4 GB of RAM and another 1.5 GB in virtual RAM (paged).  Is it
possible to use the 3 GB switch to give SQL express more memory?  All of this
is on a 32 bit platform.  I read somewhere that SQL express can only use 1 GB
of RAM.  Any guidance or help would be great.
The best solution here might be to move the database to a full SQL server as
opposed to SQL Express.  However, I want to check my options on the 3 GB
switch first.
Many thanks.

You can't use more than 1GB of RAM for a SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
instance.

It does not matter you take advantage of 3GB or something else...

Check out the following feature comparison table and pick up a convenient
SQL Server edition for your needs.

Thanks much.  That answered my question--moving the database to a full
version of SQL.
