I need a very basic SQL Server Express setup to connect to Visio
Professional to draw an ERD. I downloaded Express and just followed
the default installation with Windows authentication. The Server is
running in my Services.
I just want to convert an existing MySQL database to SQL Server
Express. My question is where is the user interface, the Query
Manager or the Server Management Tool to do this? It appears all I
have running is the database engine but I need the administrator
tool. Do I have to download Express Visual Basic Studio? Is that
where you do the import of the MySQL database? I'm not quite sure
what I have to do with the Configuration Manger. I just need it
running so I can import the database and then create a datasource with
Visio

You need to download and install SQL Server Management Studio Express:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=c243a5ae-4bd1-4e3d-94b8
-5a0f62bf7796&displaylang=en
Once you install it and create a database, right click on the database and
select Tasks. There you can access the import functions.
