I'd like to install SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition on my F: drive,
but the installation procedure doesn't seem to give me that option. Is
it possible to do? If so, how?

Thanks for your help!

No idea why you aren't seeing the option to set the installation location.
I have it installed on my D drive currently.  Note that it will still put a
TON of 'crap' in your boot partition!!
