Hi Folks,
I want to put a copy of SQL Server 2000 on a desktop machine here that is
really strong, but I want to make sure that it will work on XP Pro first.
Will SQL 2000 Server work on an XP Pro machine? Thanks!

The client tools will work.

You will not be able to install the Standard or Enterprise edition
database engines on Windows XP Pro.  You can only install the
Developer, Personal, or Desktop Edition (MSDE) on Windows XP Pro.
