Hi,

Im in the process or setting up an active /passive cluster on SQL 2005
standrad.

Do i need to use AD or can i setup my SQL servers without it ?

Both are sharing a DB.

Windows 2003 enterprise.

Thanks
Scott

Technically, you don't need AD for a cluster as you cna always have the nodes
form a domain all by themselves. But if you already have an AD, there is no
reason you should build a cluster wihtout using that AD (unless of course the
cluster is in DMZ or for some special reason).
