Can I write the files required on the CF Sql Server on a host PC for download to the portable? Can I upload the files from the portable and interogate on the host PC? Cheers.

I understand that it is possible to encrypt a database in SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition. But I do not want to encrypt the entire database. Instead I just want to encrypt only selected data in the database. Can this be done in Mobile Edition? If yes, how to do it and is there any

I have installed VS 2008 beta 2 on one of my computers. I expected the Sql Server Compact Edition 3.5 beta to be installed with it. That didn't happen. Does anyone know where I can dowload Sql Server Compact Edition 3.5 beta from?
