Move transaction logs in SQL cluster22 Jan 2005 02:47 GMT3
I need to move the transaction logs for all the sql db's (including master,
model and user db's etc) to a seperate drive. Does anyone have any experience
doing this in a sql cluster?

I am in the process of setting up a new exchange cluster on a pair of Dell
servers.
I have three physical disks that appear in the disk management console. On
the primary node I wrote a signature to each of them while the secondary

I have a 2 node active/passive sql server 2000 sp3a running on Windows 2003.  
Whenever I run a distributed query I get the following error:
MSDTC on server 'VirtualServerName' is unavailable

I have a 2 node cluster, we are getting rid of one of the servers and will
not replace it.
As of right now I have about 85 people across 3 sites who access to virtual
server by name. I want to decomission the cluster node (I assume I can just
switch time for sql cluster17 Jan 2005 14:20 GMT7
I need a value for switching time sql-on-node-1 to sql-on-node-2 (best
win2003 cluster, slq 2000). microsoft says 2 - 30 seconds. Is this a real
value?
