we have an active-active sql cluster configured as follow: server A - 4gb ram - sql server instance #1 server B - 4gb ram - sql server instance #2 currently each sql instance is configured to use at most 2gb of ram.

I receive a "Cannot generate SSPI context" error message when you try to connect to a SQL Server 2000 SP3 server computer. According microsoft's article ID 843248 there is a hot fix. I do not want to install SP2 just the hot fix.

What is the better to use in active/active SQL 2000 cluster ? 1 Default instance and 1 named instance or 2 Named Instances ? There are any advantages or disadvantages ?

Hi, I was told by someone that after install clustering SQL Server 2000 named instance, it must remove that before installation made the alias. Is that necessary? What if I leave the alias named instance in the server?
