I have a Windows 2003 two node cluster and am trying to install sql 2000 I go through the first steps of the install ok then it hangs after I have put the virtual ip address in for the virtual sql cluster The extract from he setup log below suggests that it has trouble doing

I've 2 box servers with sql 2000 in cluster, I look for solutions this problem in KB but without sucessfully. I'd like to know what I can make to solve this problem, because I need to use this counters to make report capacity this box machine.

I just want to make sure I understand this correctly... If you are running only one database (one instance?), and are clustered, then you must be running in an "active / passive" configuration. There is no way that both nodes can "share" the single database instance across both
